— RULES FOR THE WATER CHALLENGE! —
1 Fill up a single jug or bottle or pitcher with your daily amount of water (SEE BELOW) in the morning. (Buy a jug of water & reuse that jug) You must finish the entire contents of your jug before you go to bed that night. PERIOD.
2 Do it for 10 days straight.
3 Finish all of the previous days water before you can start over with today’s water. That jug is your life line! Only water from the jug counts towards your Challenge. (Squeeze real lemons into the water if you like. Or add sliced cucumbers)
4 You can drink additional things. Just minimize the amount of coffee and soda and energy drinks (etc) during the Challenge. (I don’t expect you to just stop cold turkey…I’m realistic!)
5 Get a group of you to do it together!

HOW MUCH WATER?
Daily recommended water amount:
◊ Drink 1/2 ounce for every 1 pound of your weight, every day.
◊ That’s .033 liters per 1kg you weigh.
150lbs. Half = 75. So 75 ozs each day
250lbs. Half = 125. So 125 ozs each dayMetric
68kg x .033 = about 2 liters day
90kg x .033 = about 3 liters each day
(NINJA TIP: For every 64ozs of water, I put 1/2 teaspoon of Himalayan or sea salt in it. WHY? Increase water intake requires more unrefined salt to force the water in the your cells. – NOT WHITE TABLE SALT! Squeeze 1/2 a lemon in to offset the salt taste. Click here for proof)
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
Resetting your body is all about undoing years of bad habits and less than perfect health choices. As you’ve heard a thousand times, drinking lots of water is critical. Quite honestly, the only way the rest of the Reset steps will work is if you keep your water intake up, nice and high.
WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL ABOUT WATER?
The Earth is 70% water. Your body is 80% water. It stands to reason that water is some pretty important stuff – right? Water is the body’s transportation medium. It’s how it moves EVERYTHING around to different parts of your body…everything. Water is used to move nutrients to your 100 trillion cells in your body. Water is used to move waste & toxins from your cells to your kidneys, to leave your body. Water is used to wash fat from your body. These things have to
get out somehow, right? They don’t just evaporate away! So water moves good things around your body, and water moves waste and toxins and fat out. (Watch my weight-loss video)
WHAT’S NOT WATER?
Many of us drink a lot of LIQUID each day…but we don’t drink a lot of WATER.
IMPORTANT – sodas & juice & energy drinks (etc) are not treated the same as water! Just because it’s a liquid does not mean that it’s water. You know this already – gasoline: it’s a liquid but drinking it is bad news, right? Look at the ingredients label on the
can of a soda or an energy drink. That liquid is made of those things: high fructose corn syrup – is that water? Caramel color – is that water? Phosphoric acid – how about that? If it does not say water (plain H2O) then your body treats that drink as a food…because that’s what it is!
If I take a hamburger, throw it in a blender, blend it up until its a liquid…that doesn’t make it water and your body will use that the exact same way as if you ate the burger. Your body will NOT use it to move nutrients around your body. And your body will NOT use it to wash toxins & fat out of your cells/body.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
– You will pee more…Welcome the pee! That is how your body removes the toxins and the fat from your cells and your body. Help it out. I drink tons of water and I pee…deal with it! It’s temporary – the excess peeing will stop within a week. (Your pee will be very light yellow, almost clear – by the way)
(When you add the 1/2 teaspoon of pink Himalayan sea salt for every 64ozs of water, you pee a TON less. The sea salt causes your cells to absorb more of the water! Click here for Why!)
-For some – temporary: headache, bloating, & water retention (for a few days, then it passes and the magic happens!)
– You’ll have more regular, easier to pass, bowel movements
– More energy!
– You’ll be less hungry
– Many of you will lose an inch or 2 from your waist.
– Many of you will lose 5-10 lbs (REALLY!)
– Your skin will become more clear
– Less joint pain
– You’ll have less annoying body sweating (more water = less excess sweat!)
– A few of you will become bloated. That’s not because you are drinking too much water. It’s caused by a lot of gut activity now that you have the proper amount of water. That’s causing some gas, and it’s trapped. And of course it’s temporary.
FACT: When your body has a shortage of water, it takes water from less important places (joints) to use in more important place (brain).

This is #1 of the 8 Challenges to Reset Your Body. The goal is for you to adopt this level of water consumption as part of your new lifestyle, permanently. If you screw up one day, DON’T beat your self up. Just finish up what you missed, and start on the new days amount.
